Rise of Dark Dawn collects the following personal and business information to prepare for consultations and to process orders:

Personal information we don’t collect on the product/service side of Rise of Dark Dawn.

We don’t collect personally sensitive data like race, ethnic origin, gender, religious beliefs, political opinion, biometric data, health data, or sexual orientation.

How we use your data?

We use your data for purchases, create account profiles so you can manage your data, marketing retargeting and help in fraud prevention when making purchases.  According to the data protection law, we can only process your data for specific purposes and only when we have a legal basis to do so.

Account / Email Notifications – cookies apply

When you sign up for either and account or to be on the email list, you are asked for your full name and email address.  You will also be asked to verify your email address through a request sent to the email address you used to sign up for an account or to be part of the email list with.  If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

An anonymized string is created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Public Forum – Blog Posts – Media

We may offer blogs, chat rooms, message boards, bulletin boards, or other similar forums where you and other users of our website can communicate.  The protection provided in the privacy policy do not apply when you provide information (including personal) in connection with your use of the blog post page. We may use personally identifiable information and non-personal information about you to identify you in a posting on the blog page. Any information shared in a public forum is public information and maybe seen or collected by anyone; including third parties that do not adhere to Rise of Dark Dawn privacy policy. We are not responsible for events arising from the distribution of any information you choose to publicly post or share through Rise of Dark Dawn.

If you upload articles and images to the blog post on Rise of Dark Dawn, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

Rise of Dark Dawn may contain links to other third party websites that we do not control or maintain, such as other services or products that are not affiliated with Rise of Dark Dawn’s services and product line.

We may use third party vendors, including Google, who use first party cookies (such as the Google Analytic Cookie) and third-party cookies (such as double click cookie) together to inform, optimize and serve ads based on your past activity on the web site, including Google Analytics for Display Advertising. Marketing Communications: Unless users opt-out of receiving Rise of Dark Dawn marketing materials upon registration, we may email users about products and services that we feel may be of interest to them. These services may include order fulfillment systems, providing customer service, and marketing assistance, performing business and sales analysis supporting the websites functionality, supporting contest, surveys and other features offered through Rise of Dark Dawn. Retention of Personal Data

We retain personal data only for as long as is reasonably necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Submitting Privacy Rights Requests

Before processing your request, we will need to verify your identity and/or confirm you are a resident of the State of California. In order to verify your identity, we will generally either required the successful authentication of your work-related account, or the matching of sufficient information you provide us to the information we maintain about you in our systems. As a result, we require requests to include your full name, work or personal email, confirmation that you reside in California. We may at times need to request additional personal data from you, taking into consideration our relationship with you and the sensitivity of your request.

In certain circumstances, we may decline a privacy rights request, particularly where you are not a resident of the State of California or where we are unable to verify your identity.

Submitting Authorized Agent Requests

In certain circumstances, you are permitted to use an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf through the designated methods set forth above where we can verify the authorized agent’s authority to act on your behalf. In order to verify the authorized agent’s authority, we generally require evidence of either:

• A valid power of attorney or
• A signed letter containing your name and contact information, the name and contact information of the authorized agent, and a statement of authorization for the request.

Depending on the evidence provided, we may still need to separately reach out to you to confirm the authorized agent has permission to act on your behalf and to verify your identity in connection with the request.
